Oud i Qasim is a dark, sophisticated woody-spicy oriental fragrance with a strong masculine character. Its signature comes from the combination of oud, leather, tobacco and saffron, with black rose and jasmine adding a subtle floral depth.

👃 How it smells

The opening is spicy, sharp and slightly citrusy, with black pepper and bergamot. Very quickly, the fragrance develops into a darker oud + saffron + tobacco character.

The dry-down is where this  really shines: smooth oud, dry leather and tobacco create a warm, smoky, slightly earthy and luxurious impression. The rose and jasmine aren’t dominant; they mainly soften and balance the darker accords.

Performance is one area where reviews vary considerably. Parfumo’s community average currently rates longevity 6.8/10, while individual experiences range from around 4–6 hours to 8–12 hours, depending on skin, batch and application.

For a realistic expectation, I’d describe it as:

Clothes: considerably longer

Best performance: moisturized skin + several sprays

The opening can project quite strongly, particularly the oud/spicy accord, but it generally settles down relatively quickly. Parfumo’s current community sillage score is 6.6/10.

So I would not classify Oud I Qasim as a true beast-mode fragrance. It’s better described as noticeable, elegant and controlled.
